Drive from Fishguard to the Channel Tunnel in Folkestone,

Take the Tunnel train after 4.00 pm to Calais
In France, (losing the hour), take A26 Autoroute to Reims

on Stena Europe (14:30 18:00) and back home from Rosslare.

Recover

The 2009 tour will leave Ireland from Rosslare port on Saturday morning 5th September. Some members will stay overnight in a local Hotel and meet up with the rest of the group at the Rosslare ferry port where we will take a ferry to Fishguard in Wales. From there the group will travel through southern Wales and England to the Channel Tunnel in Folkstone, Kent where we will get an afternoon train.
We will travel from there to a hotel near Reims where we will stay overnight. The following morning we will travel down through France to Bourg St Maurice.
We will be based there for 5 days and (weather permitting) sample some of the best roads and scenery the Alps have to offer. The return Journey will be the same as the journey out with the addition of an overnight in West Wales on our last night.
