Most of the group left from the offices of Down Syndrome Ireland to get a ferry from Dublin to Holyhead. We drove across England to the port of Harwich to get an overnight Ferry to the Hook of Holland. There we met the remainder of the group, who had taken a ferry from Rosslare to southern Wales. We travelled through Holland, Germany, Czech Republic and Poland visiting Colditz Castle and Auschwitz. We had a rest day in Krakow where we visited the renowned salt mine. On the return journey the group stopped off in Amsterdam for a rest day, enjoying a relaxing spin around Northern Holland. Some route maps are included in the table.
